Pictures of location 3

Stockwell Pictures

Day 3 of filming

Filming took place on 15/12/09.

Location: In a house (Stockwell).

This scene was set in a house of one of the victims in the film. We had come up with many ideas before and during this day of filming which we thought we could use in our editing stages to make the house scene seem dramatic and mysterious in the final version of our teaser trailer.

One of the main reasons for using a house as one of our key scenes was to show that the victim owned his own property and that he has become very successful as he owns his own apartment at a young age. The scene included Nicholas playing Lee and Usman playing Lucifer inside and outside Nicholas' house. A good shot that everyone in the group thought we had achieved was a high angled point of view shot which was of the mystery figure looking out of the victims window at the victim walking towards his home. This gave the feeling that the mystery person had some how managed to get into the victims house and was there waiting for him to return. Another shot that we thought was quite good was of Lee (the victim) sitting in his front room whilst the mystery man (Lucifer) was strolling down his hallway brandishing a knife which Lee never noticed. This shot was taken so if used in our final piece, the audience could ask themselves 'what is going to happen? is he going to see him or not.'

Just like day 2 of filming Sam was unable to make it due to lessons but the following roles were as folowed:

- Nicholas: actor.
- Usman: actor, cameraman.
- Myself: camerman, ideas guy, photographer.

Southside Carpark Pictures

Day 2 of filming

Filming took place on 09/12/09.

Location: Wandsworth Southside Car Park.

We had chosen this location as we felt that this would a good place to film. This was because it was quite a dark and unlit area in which not that many people were around. The darkness of the car park along with the natural lighting which was seeping into the car park we felt gave the shots more effect and meaning.
We had also used the car park to show that the main character in this shot had just come back from shopping and was going back to his car which shows he likes to get around alot as he has a car. One of the main shots that we had used during this day of filming was a hand held shot merged with a pan shot to show that the victim in these shots was being followed without even realising. We was unsure about the hand held shot as we didn't know if it would work as this was the first time trying this but as we played it back on the camcorder it seemed to be a good shot which we could work with during the editing stages of our production.

During this filming session, Sam was unable to make it due to the fact he had lessons which was vital for him to attend but the following roles were as follows:

- Nicholas: cameraman, idea guy.
- Usman: actor, idea guy.
- Myself: actor, photographer.

Tooting Pictures

Day 1 of filming

Filming had taken place on 07/12/09.

Location: Chetwode Road, Holdemesse Road and Trinity Cresent (Tooting).

During filming, we only used Sam Mante playing Jason and Usman Sheikh playing Lucifer.

We had taken a large amount of shots and angles during this day of filming. This was to allow us to have a variety of clips which we could work and play with during our editing and to allow us to perfect our project with the ideas that we had. On this day it was slightly raining which our group then believed that wuld give a sort of an affect to our project as it gives a cold and sinister feel to our work. We had used this location as these three roads seemed quiet and discrete with very little passers by, this was good as this part of our teaser trailer was to show one of the victims walking down a quiet street by himself where someone was watching his every move.

Each member of the group had their own specific roles during filming. These roles were as follows:

- Nicholas: Cameraman, ideas guy.
- Usman: Actor, ideas guy.
- Sam: Actor.
- Myself: Cameraman, photographer.

Possible tiltles and final title of our film.

There has been an on going discussion with our group on the decision on the title for our film. This has been debated for a while as we want a title which can relate more to our film.

The possible titles which we had decided on were:

- Echo Of Silence
- Red Ribbon
- Silent Footsteps
- The Silent Pursuit

After our ongoing dicussin on which title we should use, we have decided to call the film Silent Footsteps.

Toy Story 3 Teaser trailer

Comparison of 2012 Official trailer and Teaser trailer

The teaser trailer shows a lot less of the 2012 movie compared to the official trailer. As the teaser trailer only shows one area or setting in the film which is up in the mountains of an area controlled by monks. The official trailer shows areas from all over the world including America, Brazil, the UK, Saudi Arabia and finally in Rome,Italy.

Whereas the teaser trailer shows flooding in the mountains, the official trailer shows a lot more such as buildings crumbling, meteors crashing down from the sky and people fighting for their survival. However, even though the official trailer shows a lot more of the films plot, the teaser trailer creates and builds up more suspense as the viewer who watches this trailer doesn't really know whats happening in this movie and would like to see more. The official trailer doesnt really create this suspense as it gives the audience to much away about the plot of the film, so the audience would say to themselves that they wouldn't want to go and watch it as they now know what happens in it.

Fast and Furious Superbowl Trailer http://teaser-trailer.com

The trailer starts off with a clip showing the name and trademark symbol of the studio (Universal) invovled in the production of this film.

The sound of engines from modified cars can be heard suggesting to the audiences that this film is about cars and racing.

The clip then jumps to a montage of seven shots with each the shot changes to another during this montage, a car engine is revved up. From this montage of clips and revving of engines gives the idea that the film is very fast and adreneline fuelled.

During the montage a lot of ladies and ars are seen to show that this is what the film is about. during these last two shots a shot reverse shot is used to show 1 character looking at the next who looks back at him and says "alot has changed" with the first character replying "your right". This suggests that the two characters know each other and that they have a past together in illegal racing.

the trailer shows the first character putting his foot down on the accelerator which then jumps to a shot of a rev counter reading 6988 rpm. This then changes to a row of cars with a muscle car in the middle lifting up the front end into the air as all of the cars pull off.

The cars can then be seen racing down the road where a blank screen appears with the words 'This April' telling the audiences the release date the movie.

The next clip from the films shows the two original characters sitting either side of a next character. This new character asks 'Do you know each other', with both original characters looking at each other and starting laughing.

The trailer then shows a blank screen with the words 'The Fast' appearing on it which then jumps to a shot of a women driving a car at very high speeds and then the first character is then shown driving his car at speed over a a small bridge causing his vehicle to lift off the ground. A new clip appears with the words 'Get Furious' with a montage of clips showing people getting beaten up and people crashing their cars along with cars being blown up. This montage of shots in this trailer stops with the first character hand brake shiddiing his car to a complete stop. This then skips to a shot of the car facing an out of control oil tanker which has somehow car fire and is on the brink of exploding.

As the oil tanker gets closer and closer to the car, the main character starts wheel spinning whilst the women in the passenger seat is getting very adgitated and shouting at the character to stop. Then the character pulls off and towards the flamming oil tanker and just about manages to avoid the tanker without getting hurt.

A blank screen then reappears with the title 'Fast & Furious', 'New model, original parts' and the date of release '4.3.09' all appearing afterwards.

This trailer is very effective as is shows suspense that appears in the movie which makes the audience viewing this trailer feel like they want to see more as it is action packed.

The audience for this type of movie is people who like cars and action. With a mixture of both, this trailer will draw the audience in as they would want to see more of what happens throughout the entirefilm. As this is the fourth installment of The Fast And The Furious series, people who have watched the previous 3 films would want to see this one as they would like to see more of their favourite characters from these previous films. The audience would aslo want to see how the sequel falls into place with the rest of The Fast And The Furious series.
